HostHead Review
HostHead web hosting has be recognized as a top web hosting provider by AlreadyHosting.com. As always we bring you the latest HostHead.com Promo pricing .
About HostHead
Our network is multi-homed using several of the largest providers in the industry. This means your site data will take the fastest route to the person loading your site in their browser, or pulling data from your FTP server. This also means, if one of our providers happens to go down, your site will continue to be available to your customers. Your data will automatically take one of our other providers as its route. Many hosting companies risk your site being available by only using one provider to keep their prices down. If the provider they use happens to go down, your site is down until the provider can fix the problem. This can sometimes mean hours of downtime. Why risk unnecessary down time, and lost customers? In the end it is money out of your pocket.

Comments | | Complete ass holes as far as I'm concerned. I'm
a 18 year old student that is currently a Junior in
college. I offered to take over my cousin's website
as a side project. Keep that in mind reading these
messages from HostHead:

Not having time to read the
email fully I sent a quick response which hitting reply
went to HostHead instead of my cousin on
accident:
You should call your credit card
company and tell them that you didn't authorize
this. It probably was just on auto-bill but you should
be able to get them to reject the payment since
you're on my hosting now and don't need this.

I noticed the mistake and just forwarded the
email to my cousin, but then got this reply from
HostHead:
Interesting. It appears you meant to
send this to your client, and not to us. Advising them
to issue a charge back? Are you kidding me? You appear
to have zero business sense what so ever. And you run
some kind of hosting company? Anyone hosting with you
would be an absolute fool.
To our client. Your
card was not charged, it was just a notice that your
invoice was due on 10/11/2010. In any event, it appears
you would like the account canceled. We don't
normally authorize cancellations this way, but since
you made the request, and your "new host?"
responded as well, we will make an exception. Your
account is officially canceled, and you will not be,
nor were you charged anything.
You may want to
contact your "new host" as your site is now
down, as it was never moved from our
network.
Thank
you,
Sara

I simply replied:
Very
professional.
Thank
you.
---------------------------------------------
To which they replied:
You said it
Charles! Please refrain from any further communication
with me, or any person under the hosthead.com or
northtone.com domain names. Any further contact from
you will be considered harassment, and reported to your
local law enforcement.
Have a nice
day.

So as they have requested, I will not provide
them the satisfaction of further contact, but will
instead let everyone else on the web know exactly how
the people at HostHead operate. | | Charles Banta, Sun Oct 10, 2010 |
